Anne Scott

Owner

A keen quilter, Anne Scott founded New Zealand Quilter magazine in 1992 and continues to edit this quarterly publication. Since 1998, Anne has curated touring exhibitions of New Zealand quilts for exhibition in Canada, Australia, the US, Britain and France. With a longstanding interest in quilt history, she served on the Advisory Board of the International Quilt Study Center at the University of Lincoln, Nebraska from 2000-2003. Most years she travels to Laos, teaching quilting and sewing skills to disadvantaged women as part of an income generation project.

   
 
MaryAnn Georgiou

Shop manager

MaryAnn is an award-winning quilter, who also enjoys embroidery and most things creative. She is a whiz at designing complex pictorial quilts on the computer and her quilt The Labours of Herakles won a Merit Award and second place in Viewers’ Choice at Symposium 2011. MaryAnn creates exquisite Bomboniere for weddings and christenings.

   
 
Charlotte Howard

Part time retail assistant

Charlotte works part time at Minerva while studying fulltime at Victoria University towards a degree in bio-med sciences. She is a keen knitter and hopes to create her own baby knitting label one day.
 

   
 
Lillian Baker

Part time retail assistant

Having worked as a photographer, Lillian will soon complete her degree in textile design at Massey University
